This was a very successful event attended by 37 people representing ten organisation including two emerging Community Cinema groups.
The venue was very suitable and pleasant. The catering was very good. We were well looked after and enjoyed a lot of support
from Torbay Film Club.
There were many fruitful discussion and interesting ideas were shared. All the details will be put together into a document to be shared with other
groups in Devon and Cornwall.
Two main thoughts did clearly emerge:
A - there is no desire to form an organisation separate from the BFFS South West Group
B - Devon and Cornwall do want their own Viewing Sessions to cut down on travelling.
There will be a similar event in March 2011, probably in Launceston.
Six films will be screened then - the same number as at other SW Viewing Sessions.
