This Spring we have two Viewing Sessions in the South West:
Launceston on Sunday 10 April and
Wotton under Edge on Sunday 1 May.
Six excellent films are on show at both locations.
OF GODS AND MEN
LOOSE CANNONS
MONSTERS
MY AFTERNOONS WITH MARGUERITTE
STILL WALKING
WINTER’S BONE
This Viewing Session was enjoyed by all those who attended. The venue was brilliant, the food was excellent and the selection of films was really appreciated by those attending. The only problem was that 28 people and 7 organisations cannot create a viable film viewing session. Why did so many of the Devon and Cornwall film societies and community cinema groups not attend? We will try to ask them soon, but if things don't change quickly, nothing much will happen for Devon and Cornwall on the collective community front. We need more initiatives from the Devon and Cornwall groups.
